School is kicking my butt. SERIOUSLY! I can not for the life of me get the rationale of an algebraic equation. It hurts my brain everytime I think about it. I have researched every HELP book I can get on it. I will also have to schedule a tutor. OMG! It is hard, I am intimidated, like it can reach out and bite me or something. My online classes are harder than in class, I read, read, read, write, read, read some more. Ahhh! I am drowing. I considered dropping 1 or 2 classes. I know it is a lot to have to keep up with but I really don't want to give up yet. To boot I found a registered nurse who (she has a CNA training program) is WILLING to do the weekend CNA program with just me. So you know what that means. Hands on, one on one experience and teaching. How awesome is that. I am so thankful for it. Now I just need to organize my life again! I have come up with a fantastic way to keep myself organized with my schoolwork and quizzes since keeping up with the online work is more being on top of things in order to not miss deadline. I have made up an assignment sheet with the full week on it (over the top) I then have my class subjects (on the sidebar) I note all assignments due, and add the printout of the assignment on the back. When I am done I cross out the assignment and the printout. My quizzes and future projects are in sections on the bottom by subject. (If anyone wants to view, just let me know.) It has worked absolutely wonderfully for me and I love it! My brain is now shot AGAIN.
And so it begins again tomorrow!
That hurt my brain just reading it! I don't know how you do it, going to school, working, and being a wife and mother.

Don't take on more than you can handle though, it isn't worth your sanity or health. If you need to drop a class, don't feel defeated. But it sounds like you've got a good hold on things!
I will say though... I do miss hearing from you often! I'm so selfish ;)
Hope you're doing well otherwise,
Marianne
You can do it!! Im cheering for you!
ReplyDeleteThat's great about the CNA program! When do you start? It sounds like you are getting the hang of the mega juggling act that is school/work/family. I'm glad you were able to get so organized. :)
ReplyDeleteI had to take intermediate algebra 3 times. I tried to take it twice weekly. Could not remember anything from class to class. Next time I had a teacher who said he was teaching algebra but I could not make heads or tails of it. I ended up taking it daily and going to the homework help the teacher's asst did 4 times a week. I got a 90% on the final. That was 2 years ago. Remember quadratic equations? vaguely but you can survive if you persist. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteStick with it, you can do it!
