And another thing....

Why is it that my husband and I both go to the same school, his aid has posted, which is totally great, but uhhh hellllloooooo where is mine? Just push the button and hit enter already... Why are these people playing with me?

Mother Nature can be a real you know what!!!!!!!

So why is it that mother nature in all her infinite wisdom, sometimes throws us crappy bones? Well I think she likes to sit back, kick her feet up and have a nice hearty laugh at our expense. Or is it that she wants to give us the reality check of "no, your life may not be as perfect as you think". WHO CARES WHAT MOTHER NATURE THINKS and what motherhood should be like. In my mind it is all still perfect. Right?

Partial Results

Did they really just say I need to take math 0097 AND 0098???!!!! WTH!!!! And I have to exit out???!!! Plus no aid results:-( Does it get any worse? Ugh! Well enough with that for now, just wanted to give the update. Have a fabulous weekend, enjoy the Easter holiday, but watch the hardboiled eggs, too many of those leads to long nights in the can.. lol ENJOY!

My Entrance Exam

Forgot to mention that yesterday I went to fantastic school in Georgia to take my Compass exam, ummmmm so lost. Yes I know I have been out of school for let's say 11 years, but come on people are we still using letters in math? WTH! It actually seems like it has gotten harder, or I have gotten dumber??? I asked the instructor to go right ahead and place me in 099 math, lol. Let's not dance around this, I know where I am weak at; and letters adding numbers, taking away fractions, yep that may very well be my weakest point. I need math for dummies, how in the world am I going to make it through nursing school, let alone make it into Nursing school. Oy Vey, what have I gotten myself into? Hopefully my wonderful husband will do my homework, but then how would that benefit me? Ugh I have to get this together I guess. On a lighter more brighter note, I met some really cool people yesterday, who like me were all very nervous, and had an innocence of what the next few years were going to be like. Everyone had a smile and had no clue that the smiles may soon fade to looks of panic when trying to get that midterm paper complete or of relief when the last "A" paper had been turned in. At that moment it all felt so good and new. I called my husband immediately after my exam to tell him all that I had experienced and the feelings I was feeling and he assured me this was going to be the best years of our lives, and I believed him. It was awesome that I could share that with him (him being a student at fantastic school in Georgia ahead of me)and understand each other. Now I can't promise you that I will always be so blissful when it comes to my husband, I'd be lying if I said I would, but at that moment it didn't matter. Now when I got home from fantastic school in Georgia, well let's just say that 3 kiddies, one with a friend from across the street, my husband and a kitchen with hardwood floors that I hate cleaning every night, not to mention having to watch my favorites Flashforward, Grey's and Private Practice (as my hubby pretends to like them so we can spend time together - again, he's the greatest for now)led to an extremely long but so worth it day. So now I wait for my aid and my grades to post, Oh come on man...

Such a Slacker!

Ok, so I know I really, really, need to post. Such a slacker right? Wrong! Well kind of. hee hee. This lady's been busy alright? So I'm waiting to get into fantastic school in Georgia, fill out app, hubby completes FAFSA for me (being the wonderful accountant that he is) yep because the girl applying to nursing school finds filling out the FAFSA so tedious and BORING!!! Man, can't wait to hit those A&P books when I finally make it in. (not so boring eh?) (or IF i finally make it in). Finally, the letter!! Dear blah blah blah, we would like to welcome you to fantastic school in Georgia, hope that you'll succeed. blah blah blah. Yes, the day has finally come! After, a husband, 3 kids, a job as an executive assistant for a couple of years, which some might consider a career, BUT not I said the cat. Finally my time to shine, show the world what I got! Kick some medical bootie! Where in the world is my financial aid people??? How do they expect me to go to school without some financial assistance? Are they mad? I need some moolah! So I've worked and worked and worked as said assistant only to have no money to send my butt to school!! Post my aid people, so I can get this show popping. Until then, I continue to check my student account with my fingers and toes crossed that my status has changed since the last ten minutes that I have checked, or that by some miraculous feat, an email will come from fantastic school in Georgia's financial aid office to my work email that isn't even on file in their records. But hey a girl can dream right?
